Due to COVID-19, the VCPEA Conference Committee has worked with Kingsmill, our speakers, and our sponsors to reschedule our conference for May 25-27, 2022.  We want to ensure that everyone feels safe in attending our event.  Safety precautions will be in place at the time of the conference in accordance with state and federal requirements.  Please click here for our conference flyer!  Our working agenda can be found here

We have confirmed that both our opening and closing speakers will be the same.  So far, we have had positive responses from the rest of the workshop presenters.

Registration must be made online through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/d/united-states-virginia/vcpea/. Registration rates are as follows:  $350 Early Bird through February 14; $400 General Registration from February 15 to April 30; and $500 Late Registration on and after May 1.  Breakfast will be offered on Thursday and Friday; lunch will be provided on Thursday.

Individuals who have already registered will be automatically registered for the May conference.  You do not have to re-register; your original ticket will be honored.

Should you be unable to attend on the May 25-27 dates, you may request a refund by going to your order on the Eventbrite Tickets page and choose “Request a Refund.”  Fill out the form and select “Continue,” review your request, and hit “Submit Refund Request.”  You may have to wait up to seven business days for your refund to be issued.  Please use “COVID-19” as the cancellation reason so we do not incur fees from Eventbrite.  If you paid by check and wish to receive a refund, please contact Joyce Martin at joyce.martin8487@gmail.com.

Unless you are a speaker, please make your reservation with Kingsmill at 800-832-5665 by May 3 in order to get the discounted room rate of $118 plus taxes; there will also be a $6 a day parking charge for overnight guests.  Please know that one night’s lodging will be charged to your credit card seven days prior to your arrival.  Rooms must be canceled at least seven days prior to your arrival.

This year, we are accepting nominations for the Helen Napps Award of Excellence.  Applications will be accepted through Friday, April 8, 2022.  Click here for the form.  Please send nomination to joyce.martin8487@gmail.com.

Scholarship recipients chosen in 2020 will still be able to use their scholarship benefits at the May 2022 conference.  A VCPEA board member will be contacting you to see if you are able to attend in May.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in the VCPEA conference!  The Conference Committee will share updates as we move forward.  Please contact info@vcpea.org if you have any questions.
